The Invincibles
Salmon for my Pal, man. devotion

Marinade
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos (or low sodium soy sauce)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (grade "B" for that dark, rich flavor)
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

Put all ingredients in a non-metal bowl and mix them up until thoroughly commingled.

Marinate
  • up to 1 lb. salmon

The easiest cut to grill is a skin-on fillet, it can go directly on the grill. We prefer a tail cut because it's a little thinner and cooks a little quicker.

Place the fillet skin side up in the marinade, and marinate for about 20 minutes. Once your grill is nice and hot, place fillet skin side down over the coals and cover; thus trapping in heat and smokey goodness. Grill for 20 - 30 minutes, basting with marinade every 5 to 10 minutes. Cooking time varies greatly dependent upon the temperature of your coals and the thickness of your fillet. It's ready to eat when it is a consistent color all the way through.

Note: Feeding fillet to your old man cat is optional.
